Our Consultants
Tammy Wallace, DS, Vacation Travel Consultant – Tammy is a 1992 graduate of Lucas Travel School in Virginia Beach, Virginia and she is a Honeymoon and Destination Wedding Specialist (DS) through the Travel Institute and is currently working toward achieving the Certified Travel Associate (CTA) designation. Tammy is also a Certified Sandals Specialist (CSS). Her travels include Alaska (her favorite), Hawaii, Las Vegas, Southern Europe, Italy, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and St. Lucia. “It is so rewarding to help my clients plan memorable vacations! Whether it’s a popular travel spot or an exotic destination, I’m excited to help get you started on your way!”
Shelley Kohtz, CTA, MCC, DS, Disney Vacation Specialist, Vacation Travel consultant – For over 10 years Shelley has been helping families and honeymoon couples plan their vacations, honeymoons and destination weddings. In addition to being a Certified Travel Associate (CTA) through the Travel institute, she is a Honeymoon and Destination Wedding Specialist, a destination specialist (DS) for Alaska, Northern, Central, and Southern Europe and she has earned the Master Cruise Counselor (MCC) designation from CLIA. Her travels have taken her to many islands in the Caribbean, Cancun, Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta, Costa Rica, Belize, Hawaii, Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, England, Scotland, Wales, and Europe river cruises. Her favorite of all is Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney Cruises. I’m often asked, “What’s your favorite destination?” My answer…“It’s either the last place I’ve been to…or wherever I’m off to next.”
Melissa Feenstra, CTA, DS, Vacation Travel Consultant – For over 15 years Melissa has been planning romance travel, honeymoons, destination weddings, and family vacations for people from all over West Michigan and the United States. Melissa is a Certified Travel Associate (CTA) through the Travel Institute, a Destination Specialist (DS) for Northern, Central, and Southern Europe, and Alaska. She is also a certified Honeymoon and Destination Wedding Specialist through the Travel Institute. Her favorite travels include Mexico, Hawaii, and Europe; however, she has also traveled to Jamaica, the Bahamas, Las Vegas, Disney World, Disneyland, and she’s been on a Disney Cruise. “I take a personal interest in helping people select the perfect vacation for their family or group. Kristin Andree, CTA, ACC, DS, Vacation Travel Consultant – Kristin is a 2000 graduate of the Travel Educational Institute (TEI) and since then she has earned her Certified Travel Associate (CTA) through the Travel Institute. She is also a Destination Specialist (DS) for Hawaii, Northern, Central, and Southern Europe and has earned the certified Honeymoon and Destination and Wedding Specialist through the Travel Institute. Kristin has achieved the Accredited Cruise Counselor (ACC) certification through CLIA and is nearing completion of the Master Cruise Counselor (MCC) designation. Kristin’s travels have taken her to Hawaii, Alaska, Tahiti, Spain, Italy, England, the Netherlands, Greece, Ireland, Disney World, Mexico, and the Caribbean. “I love the planning stage of a vacation where I research a destination and locate the perfect hotel, an amazing excursion, and a great restaurant for my client.”
Antonia Van Os, CTA, DS, Vacation Travel Consultant – For over 15 years, Antonia has been planning vacations for individuals, couples, and families seeking adventure and unforgettable new experiences. Antonia is a graduate of the Travel Education Institute (TEI) and she earned her Certified Travel Associate (CTA) through the Travel Institute. She is also a Destination Specialist (DS) for Alaska. Other specialized areas of training for Antonia include Costa Rica and the Netherlands and she is a certified Honeymoon and Destination Wedding Specialist through the Travel Institute. She is also certified by Sandals and Beaches Resorts® as a CSS. Teri Yonker, CTA, DS, Vacation Travel Consultant – For over 20 years Teri has been studying and traveling the world. Teri is a graduate of the Travel Education Institute (TEI) and earned her Certified Travel Associate (CTA) through the Travel Institute. She is also a Destination Specialist (DS) for the South Pacific, Western and Southern Europe, Hawaii, Britain, Switzerland, Australia, South Pacific, the Netherlands, and Alaska, as well as a Honeymoon and Destination Wedding Specialist through the Travel Institute. Teri is currently working toward the Accredited Cruise Counselor (ACC) designation through CLIA. Her travels have taken her to Napa Valley, Hawaii, England, Western Europe, New Zealand, Australia, China, France, Caribbean, Mexico, Asia, Africa, and river cruises in Europe. “Consider me your personal travel concierge. Karen Chircop, CTA, DS, Vacation Travel Manager – A West Michigan native, Karen attended Grand Rapids Community College before beginning her career in the travel industry in 1977 as a travel consultant. She joined Witte Travel in 1981 and held various administrative and management positions in Accounting, Human Resources, Vacation and Corporate Travel until 2003, when she moved into her current role as Vacation Travel Manager. Karen earned her Certified Travel Associate (CTA) through the Travel Institute, as well as the (DS) for Western and Southern Europe. She has also completed studies of France and the Netherlands and is currently working toward the Accredited Cruise Counselor (ACC) designation through CLIA. Karen’s travels have taken her to the Netherlands, Ireland, England, Denmark, Norway, France, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Hawaii, Mexico, and the Caribbean. “I feel so blessed and proud to have been employed at Witte Travel for 29 years!
