Harmony in Hawaii Cruise Members Update

Topic: Breaking Travel NewsPosted February 15, 2008

Dear Harmony in Hawaii Cruise Members,

It has been a couple of days since our last communication and we would like to update you on the progress of our cruise.

First of all, please let me thank each and every one of you for your kind words and patience, while we work "around-the-clock" to resolve the changes. We do have some new information to share and will continue to send these updates via email and also on our website.

Norwegian Cruise Lines has initially agreed to delay the sailing of the Pride of America until 10:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 8th. For those of you who find it impossible to cruise the night of the 8th, we are working on transportation alternatives to join the cruise the next morning and meet the ship in Maui, the first port of call. Any member who will be sailing on the 8th, Witte Travel & Tours will be supplying transportation to the ship for those who have booked directly through our company. More information on times will be sent out closer to the sailing date. We have also started the re-accommodation process of your cabins on the Pride of America, for the November 8th sailing to protect your cruise arrangements. This does not mean that you do not have the choice to cancel, if needed. Please be assured that whatever type of cabin you originally reserved will be guaranteed on the new ship. Also, we are working on a hotel stay the night of November 15 in Oahu, which will allow you to leave your air accommodations as originally booked. During the week of February 18-22, you will be contacted personally by a Witte Travel and Tours representative, who will supply you with all your new information.

We have been in contact with Sweet Adeline's International, and have been advised that the competition events will conclude by 6:00 p.m. This will allow plenty of time for everyone to reach the ship on time for the later sailing that chooses to sail that evening.

For those of you who have not yet sent in your applications, we highly recommend that you do not wait any longer. As of Monday, February 18, we cannot guarantee that Norwegian Cruise Line will have additional cabins to add to the group. The cruise line is taking these applications on a case-by-case basis, and will be based on availability.

The Pride of America is a bigger and newer ship that has been in service since 2005. There are more restaurants on board, and that will allow for a bigger and better choice on where to dine during sailing. Also, the itinerary has been modified, and our first port of call will be the island of Maui. Please click here to review the attached revision of the ship's itinerary.

Again, please accept our thanks for your patience in this difficult time for everyone involved. We look forward to seeing each of you on the Pride of America in November!

Sincerely,

WITTE TRAVEL & TOURS
