Harmony in Hawaii Cruise Members
Topic: Breaking Travel NewsPosted February 21, 2008Dear Harmony in Hawaii Cruise Members,
We are making progress on the new arrangements for your Hawaiian Island cruise in November! Witte Travel & Tours has completed the first phase of the switchover from NCL's Pride of Aloha to the Pride of America. Everyone who had a deposited reservation on the Aloha has been rebooked on the America. Our staff will be contacting you personally by February 22 to advise you of your new cabin assignment.
At this time, we are asking that you have any questions regarding the reaccommodation process ready for discussion when you hear from our staff. Please hold questions regarding excursions, future payments, the general cruise, and travel arrangements until after March 7, by which time it should again be "business as usual" in our office!
If you know of other Sweet Adelines, friends, and family members who haven't signed up yet but are planning to join the cruise, please be aware that NCL is not taking any new bookings until after March 7. Once this deadline has past, Witte Travel & Tours will do all possible to accommodate new reservations, subject to availability of space. Please expect the rates for new passengers will probably be higher since our specially-negotiated group rates will no longer apply to new bookings. You have our assurances that we will do our best to try to book your reservation for the cruise.
Details regarding flight changes, departure changes, compensation, etc. will be addressed on a future date. We are still working out the details with Norwegian Cruise Lines.
We again thank you for your cooperation and patience--You have been wonderful to work with and have made our job much easier. Soon we will be through this difficult time and can all once again focus on the fantastic cruise that's being planned for you!
Best regards,
WITTE TRAVEL AND TOURS
