At Witte Travel & Tours, our goal is to help you book the honeymoon of a lifetime! Because this means different things to different people, the more you and your fiáncee discuss what's truly important to you, the better we'll be able to help guide you to the right destination.

What type of honeymoon do you want?

Do you like to keep busy with a lot of sightseeing and nightlife? Do you want a once-in-a-lifetime experience such as riding a hot-air balloon over French Chateau's, or do you want to relax together on the beach - maybe sharing a hammock for two?

Where do you want to go?

Do you have time to explore a far away destination or will your time be better utilized by staying in a nearby time-zone?

When do you want to leave?

Do you want to wait a day or two after the wedding to visit with out-of-town relatives, get caught up on sleep, and pack? Do you want to wait until a different time of year to avoid hurricane season or hit the peak skiing snow? Or do you want to sneak off to a local hotel right after the reception and jump on a jet first thing the next morning?

What type of hotel accommodations are you looking for?

Do you want to stay in a luxury full-service resort that offers breakfast in bed and poolside drinks or just somewhere clean to sleep after a full day of sightseeing and exploring?

Does the view from your room or stateroom matter to you? A hotel's least expensive rooms often overlook a parking lot or roof, while more deluxe rooms may offer a view of the ocean or other popular sights. On a cruise, an inside cabin doesn't have ANY windows, while an outside cabin likely has an oceanview - and maybe even a balcony!

What would you like included in your package?

Do you want to know exactly what you're going to spend? Then you may want to consider an all-inclusive resort: meals, drinks, water sports, nightly entertainment, and more are often included for one up-front price. If you prefer to do a little more "free-lancing," we can customize a package that includes your air, hotel, and transportation, then you can enjoy the restaurants, sightseeing and activities on your own.

Do you want to travel with a group or on our own?

Most honeymooners prefer to travel on an independent package, which means you get the benefit of group rates, but don't travel with a group. This allows them to make their own schedule - sleep in when they want to, explore at their own pace, and take time to smell the roses. However, you'll want to consider where you're going and your own travel experience before taking a hard and fast stand on this. If you're traveling to a country you've never been to, and are a bit apprehensive - despite really wanting to go - sometimes having an expert plan and guide you through an itinerary can help. Many international destinations now offer a compromise - a packaged itinerary that, in addition to lodging and breakfast, also includes a "get acquainted" half-day tour, a "tour host" who can answer questions and help with suggestions on what to do and where to go, and maybe a ticket to the theater or some other type of entertainment.
