American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA)-"Integrity in Travel Worldwide" - We serve the public and the travel industry by championing the rights of travelers and the industry. The American Society of Travel Agents' mission is to enhance the professionalism and profitability of member agents through effective representation in industry and government affairs, education and training, and by identifying and meeting the needs of the traveling public.
National Tour Association (NTA) - The National Tour Association (NTA) is an organization of North American tourism professionals focused on the development,
promotion and increased use of tour operator packaged travel. NTA requires all its members to abide by a strict code of ethics that protects members, travel agents and the traveling public. NTA also provides a Consumer Protection Plan.
International Airlines Travel Agent Network (IATAN) - Its main goal is to assist travel agents to meet and maintain a specific set of standards that are of value to airlines, the agency community, as well as to consumers. When the IATAN logo is displayed in a travel agency's window, on business stationery and press releases, it demonstrates the agency owner's connection with the international travel community.
The Travel Institute - This is an international, nonprofit organization that educates and certifies travel industry professionals at all career stages. Since its inception in 1964, The Travel Institute's mission has been to increase professionalism within the travel industry and to create national standards of excellence for travel professionals through its educational programs.
Cruise Lines International Assoc. (CLIA) - The Official trade organization of the cruise industry. CLIA works in partnership with nearly 17,000 affiliated travel agencies throughout North America to ensure the highest caliber of cruise sales expertise and service for cruise vacationers. CLIA is consistently rated the most effective travel association in terms of overall support of the travel agency community, the value for the money, and the quality of its training programs.
International Air Transport Association (IATA) - International air transport is one of the most dynamic and fastest-changing industries in the world. It needs a responsive, forward-looking and universal trade association, operating at the highest professional standards. IATA is that association.
Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC) - Established by the Travel industry to provide prompt, efficient, secure distribution and settlement of travel purchased in the U.S. ARC is the trusted cornerstone of the Travel industry, integral to its success and future. ARC offers the best settlement engine, the recognized industry data store, and is the premium provider of industry knowledge and insight.
Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce - The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce mission is to create business opportunities by focusing on four core initiatives: Services/Goods, Community Building, Advocacy for Member Businesses, and Networking.
International Federation for Choral Music - Founded in 1982 for the purpose of facilitating communication and exchange between choral musicians throughout the world. Through its world and regional symposia, conducting master classes, World Youth Choir, Choral Music Database (Musica), ChoralNet website, World Choral Census, International Choral Bulletin, World Day of Choral Singing and many other projects, IFCM is fulfilling its purpose.
The American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) - A nonprofit music-education organization whose central purpose is to promote excellence in choral music through performance, composition, publication, research, and teaching. In addition, ACDA strives through arts advocacy to elevate choral music's position in American society.
Chorus America - Chorus America strengthens choral organizations and provides their leaders with information, research, leadership development, professional training, and advocacy to help them deliver the best possible contributions to their communities and to the choral art. Handbell Industry Council - The Handbell Industry Council (HIC) is made up of the business members of the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers (AGEHR) who are eager to service the needs of the handbell community
Presbyterian Association of Musicians (PAM) - Worship is the human response to God's grace and infinite love. It is central to the life of Christ's church. Music is one of the integral elements of our worship. Acting on these convictions, the Presbyterian Association of Musicians energetically promotes and teaches the language of faith through worship so that all of God's people, young and old, are vitally involved in singing, praying, proclaiming and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The National Collegiate Choral Organization (NCCO) - The organization exists to serve the specific needs of university and collegiate choral conductors by providing a national forum for their choruses to perform, by offering lectures and promoting repertoire suitable to their interests, and by aiding in their professional development and program growth through performance as well as scholarly and research opportunities.
