A World of Ideas for Your Next Concert Tour

Since 1975, we have been taking groups to Europe. Witte Travel & Tours continues to be best known as a specialist in European concert tours. Our extensive network of contacts has created lifetime memories for our groups. The year 2009 was “Haydn’s Year” in Austria, making it the top destination for our performing groups.

Other European countries that are perennial favorites for many groups are France and Italy. We encourage our clients to not only include one or more of famous “must see” sites but to also visit some of the hidden treasures in these two beautiful countries. As thrilling as it is to perform in a Mass at St. Peter’s Basilica or to give a concert at La Madeleine in Paris, our clients continue to tell us the “people to people” experiences in smaller communities are equally memorable.

November 2009 was the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. Even before the wall fell, we were taking groups to countries that were formerly behind the Iron Curtain. If you have enjoyed taking your group to Prague (Czech Republic) and Budapest (Hungary), you might want to consider exploring Poland or maybe even the Baltic countries (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania). Croatia and Slovenia in southern Europe are other interesting possibilities.

In addition to Europe, you may be ready to explore other parts of the world. South Africa is an incredible destination both for its natural beauty and very special performance opportunities. If you are interested in Central or South America, why not consider Guatemala or Argentina?

We realize that many groups prefer to stay closer to home. Some groups focus on one city, such as Washington, D.C. or New York City. Others explore one state at a time to have an in-depth and varied tour. For a destination that is on this side of the Atlantic but with a definite French flavor, where else but Quebec?

Before choosing a destination that is perfect for your group’s next performance tour, we’ll have lots of questions to ask you, including:

  • Your performance goals
  • Type of repertoire you’re planning
  • Your instrument requirements
  • Other educational, spiritual, or cultural goals integral to your tour

One of our experienced Sales Representatives or Group Tour Specialists will be delighted to talk to you about the destination that would be a perfect fit for your group’s goals. Request a Proposal or call us at 800 GO WITTE.
