Nate Barendse

Nate joined Witte Travel in 1989 when he was just 17 years old. Working part-time after school, Nate—who had no idea at the time that he was embarking on a career—assisted with a variety of administrative duties and building maintenance. Soon his attention to detail and his eagerness to learn earned him a position in the group hotel department. In 1999, he took over the department and was soon appointed to the management team. In 2013, Nate became the owner and President of Witte Travel & Tours. In addition to his management duties, Nate serves as Director of Tour Operations, overseeing all aspects of our groups’ land arrangements. Nate is a graduate of Grand Rapids Christian High School and Davenport University.
