I travel because it offers a break from routine and a chance to explore. On a trip, I am open to what’s going on around me, from the simple “I must start cooking like this”, to deeper historical, political and cultural influences. I learned the benefits of travel at a young age. Every other year my family opened our house to exchange students. In Kindergarten, I was taught one to ten in Spanish from a Spaniard. In 6th grade, I watched a Brazilian learn how to cross-country ski, and in high school I had the exchange experience myself, spending a year in Germany. These experiences have left a lasting love for travel that I want to share with others. I want group travelers to have easy, well-planned trips. Ones filled with unique experiences that excite and offer learning experiences that don’t seem like lessons. Turning your daydreams and travel plans into reality is a rewarding experience that benefits us both.
