Dietrich Bonhoeffer & Christmas Markets of Germany

Come join us for a fascinating tour of Germany, from monumental Berlin to medieval Nuremberg and from significant WWII sites to December Christmas Markets. Following the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a critical voice of resistance against Nazi Germany, we visit his family home, the location of his “seminary in exile” in today’s Poland, a beautiful monastery in the northern Alps where he had safety to write, and concentration camps where he suffered. As we walk in his footsteps, we have an opportunity to talk together about what we can learn from his faithful witness. Bach, Martin Luther, “Mad” King Ludwig, and others.
