Join Calvin University alumni and friends on a 13-day exploration of the history and culture of Germany! Our time includes a strong musical component—particularly Johann Sebastian Bach, a towering figure in the history of music and an icon of German culture and identity. Visit the principal places he lived to trace the development of his music, while taking in major sites of German history. Paul’s Missionary Journeys in Turkey

Walk in the footsteps of Paul and John during the day and study their New Testament writings at night! Travel by deluxe motorcoach to sites connected with Paul’s First, Second, and Third Missionary Journeys (Attalia, Perge, Aspendos, Pisidian Antioch, Iconium, Colossae, Laodicea, Hierapolis, Aphrodisias, Ephesus, Miletus, and Didyma) and the seven churches (Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea) to whom John wrote the Book of Revelation. Added to these magnificent biblical sites are visits to Cappadocia, where you can enjoy its stunning landscape and ancient rock-cut churches, and Istanbul with its many impressive historical and cultural sites.
