Fort Bend Boys Choir of Texas Tours and Performs Throughout Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — From June 7 – 18, 2010 the choir will be on tour in Michigan with performances in Ann Arbor, Marshall, Lansing, Mackinac Island, Petoskey, Suttons Bay and at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans (in the Chapel), 3000 Monroe NE, on Wednesday, June 16 at 2:30pm. They will also be singing the National Anthem at the West Michigan Whitecaps Baseball game at Fifth Third Ballpark at 7pm on Wednesday, June 16. The Fort Bend Boys Tour Choir has performed extensively in both the U.S. and abroad.

Their performances are always memorable events because of the choir’s ability to combine the freshness and enthusiasm of childhood with artistic maturity that is achieved through serious work.

The Fort Bend Boys Choir, Inc. of Texas was founded in 1985. The choir was organized to give boys with special musical abilities and interests an opportunity to perform more challenging choral literature from classical selections to folk music. The Tour Choir is one of five performing ensembles. Website: www.fbbctx.org
